Delegates from POWER-GEN Europe, POWERGRID Europe, Renewable Energy World Europe and Nuclear Power Europe are invited to join together for a joint plenary panel discussion on Wednesday afternoon for what promises to be one of the conference highlights. The debate encapsulates the dilemma for suppliers and utilities, many of whom were hoping for greater direction to emerge from the Copenhagen Climate change talks. Meanwhile, a competitive European electricity sector continues to face the challenges of an aging infrastructure base, a rising level of demand and questions of fuel sources and choices.

 The Joint Plenary Panel Discussion will take place in the Auditorium in the Congress Centre from 14:00 until 15:30 and will feature leading industry participants from utilities, suppliers and NGOs. There will be an opportunity for delegates to participate in the session by putting their own questions to the panel.
